These grants have a tripartite financing, with a maximum contribution of the European Community 50% of the total cost of the program, 20% by inter-professional organizations and 30% of the state.

The Ministry of Environment, Rural, and Marine Affairs today published in the Official Gazette a Resolution, which grants for programs of information and promotion of agricultural products in third countries.

The European Commission in accordance with the decision to be adopted by the Management Committee of the single CMO, have a tripartite financing, with a maximum contribution of the European Community 50 percent of total cost of the program, 20 percent by professional organizations or inter-and 30 percent of the state will determine these grants, which total amount.

As specified in the Resolution, may be receiving aid and inter-professional organizations representing the food industry in Spain, to carry out programs of information and promotion in third countries.

These programs should provide for a coherent set of measures whose scope is sufficient to contribute to increasing the awareness of agricultural products and marketing, one of the requirements of the program have a minimum of one year and a maximum of three.

Among the products that may be subject to the actions to be undertaken in third countries, include meat, dairy products, olive oil and olives, wines and quality spirits, fruits and vegetables, processed cereals, flax, live plants and products with PDO, PGI, TSG, and organic farming.

These actions may be carried out in geographic markets of North Africa, Latin America, North America, Middle East, or Southeast Asia.
